Open an additional universal savings account
The Vbank app now allows you to open multiple Universal Savings Accounts! You heard right, you can now create an additional savings account for your convenience. Remember, we’re all about empowering you to take control of your finances and achieve your goals, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer you even more flexibility with this new feature.
Biometric authentication for transactions
That’s right, no more fumbling around for passwords or PINs – now you can use your face or fingerprint to authenticate transactions securely and easily. We’ve harnessed the power of cutting-edge technology to make your banking experience more streamlined and fun than ever before. With this new feature, you’ll be able to breeze through your transactions with just a quick scan of your face or fingerprint.
Transaction history filter
Say goodbye to endless scrolling through your transaction history. With our new feature, you can filter your transactions by category, date range, or even specific keywords. This means you can quickly and easily find the transactions you’re looking for, without having to wade through a sea of information.
Want non-interest banking?
Are you interested in non-interest banking? Now, you can easily set up your account for non-interest banking by simply disabling interest on your account. With this option, you can enjoy a banking experience that aligns with your financial values and preferences.
Fixed Deposit Letters
Exciting update! We’re thrilled to announce that you can now generate Fixed Deposit letters whenever you want to. You have the option to generate an FD letter with details for one or all of your FDs in a single document. Plus, you can easily send this letter to yourself or others via email. This new feature makes it easier than ever to access and share your important financial information in a secure way.
An upgraded quick links button for transactions
Banking should be easy, convenient, and enjoyable and with our quick links, we’re taking another step towards that goal. Whether you want to transfer money, pay bills, transact with a QR code, or buy airtime, our quick link makes it easy to access your favorite features with just a tap or two.
To provide you with even more convenience and ease of access, you can carry your transactions by long-pressing the Vbank app icon on your app list or login page. With just a long press, you’ll be able to easily stay on top of your finances.
Introduction of Transfer Fees
We have also introduced a flat fee of N10 which will be charged on all interbank transfers to other banks after the 50th transfer within each month. But not to worry- to ensure a seamless experience, we have created a free transfer counter feature that allows you to easily track your monthly allocation of 50 free interbank transfers.
