Haruna Dalhatu Iya
Chairman
Mr. Haruna Dalhatu Iya is a distinguished leader with over 35 years’ experience in management, consulting, and advisory roles in the public sector. He has several years of committed service in the Ministry of Works and Transport with 23 years in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) culminating in his appointment as Head, Support Services Division of Apex bank. Mr. Haruna is also an internationally acclaimed public speaker, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, United Kingdom.
Gbenga Omolokun
Managing Director
Gbenga Omolokun is the Managing Director of VFD Microfinance Bank. Gbenga is a brilliant business strategist skilled in operations strategy and general management. He has over 15 years of rich expertise in business process improvement, general management, technology and strategy across various industries. Gbenga is skilled in establishing and scaling new businesses and ventures. Prior to his current role, he served as a manager in the advisory division of KPMG Nigeria, before occupying Executive and Non-Executive Directorial positions in several companies.
Azubike Emodi
Non Executive Director
Azubike is the Managing Director of Anchoria Asset Management. He is a resourceful financial service specialist with over 15 years’ experience in Retail & Commercial Banking, Client Relationship Management, Strategic Planning, and Financial Analysis garnered from a range of reputable financial organisations, including Zenith Bank Plc and the Royal Bank of Canada. Azubike served as the preceding MD of VFD Microfinance Bank. He is also a certified Associate of the Chartered Institute of Banking and is licensed by the Canada Securities Institute.
Adeniyi Adenubi
Non Executive Director
Adeniyi Adenubi: Adeniyi is a Director at VFD Microfinance Bank. He is an astute financier and an investor with more than 15 years’ experience in Institutional and Corporate banking, Investment management and consulting. His vast experience in the financial sector comes from working in Private equity, Venture Capital, and Financial Advisory in some of the top firms in London, and as an Executive Director in VFD Group in Lagos. He is the Chairman of Anchoria Asset Management and a Non-Executive Director on the boards of PiggyVest Ltd, InterSwitch-E’Clat Ltd, ArtSplit Global and many others. He serves on the boards of several companies with total valuation in excess of $2b, and acts as a Trustee of several charitable organizations including the Guest Artist Studio (a Yinka Shonibare foundation). Adeniyi is also a Harvard Business School alumnus of the Owner/President Management program.
Temitope Borishade
Independent Non Executive Director
Tope is a finance and business consultant with extensive experience in consulting, investment banking, oil, gas, electricity and logistics. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Member of the Institute of Directors, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers . Tope currently serves as the Chairman of Kaduna Inland Dry Port Limited and Inland Containers Nigeria Limited. He also serves on the boards of a variety of start-ups.
Chioma Nkechika
Independent Non Executive Director
Chioma Nkechika is an astute business development strategist with more than 25 years’ experience in Business Planning, Financial Risk, Business Relationship Management, Risk Management, and Corporate Finance in African markets. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Coralpay Technologies Limited. Prior to establishing Coralpay, he served as the Group Head, Card Services and E-payment Processing, Ecobank Group, and spent 9 years as an AVP at Zenith Bank.
Olayinka Olajuwon
Independent Non Executive Director
Olayinka Olajuwon has over 20 years of extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, real estate advisory, company secretarial/legal advisory services, consulting, and general legal consultancy services. He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, Owner Manager Programme (OMP). As a distinguished Legal Practitioner, Olayinka specializes in commercial and corporate practice. He is currently the Principal Partner, Olayinka Olajuwon & Co. where he provides strategic direction, and management for the firm.
